According to the community Youth Leader, Chika Uwabuofu, the decision to ask the herdsmen to vacate their land after the herdsmen failed to honor a meeting where the issue of hostage taken by them could be resolved
“After they (Fulani herdsmen) released our people, the next day, the Delta State Committee on Conflict Resolution, Chairman of Ukwani council, our community leaders, vigilante group members and representatives of the Fulani herdsmen met. At that meeting, we told them that we want Fulani herdsmen to leave our land and we were told to come up with a resolution and another meeting was fixed for Friday. On that day, the Fulani people failed to attend the meeting. As a community, we resolved that Fulani herdsmen carrying out grazing activities on our land must leave so that our farmers can go back to their farms freely without any harassment. We resolved that no cow must go across River Ethiope to graze. Today we sent our vigilante members to the bush to search, but for now, they are no longer there. We are appealing to the state and federal governments to pay compensation to our farmers whose farm produce had been destroyed by the herdsmen. We also thank the state government and our council chairman for all they have done to restore peace to the community.”he said

MAN ATTACKS OREZI PUBLICLY, ACCUSES THE SINGER OF SLEEPING WITH HIS WIFE
The 10th commandment in the Holy Bible frowns against adultery, and even the Holy Quran seriously does with, with the latter prescribing a death penalty for the offence.
However, despite adultery and fornication being a great sin before God, it is so sad that many entertainers continue to indulge in it with impunity.
It’s even common in Nollywood, especially the Yoruba section where many of the young handsome actors are reputed for sleeping with rich married women for financial gains-yes, it’s popular notion among industry folks!
If you are a woman, don't bring your rich husband near most of these actresses, and I mean most. Sex is nothing to them, if a man has got big money to spend!
You’ll be shocked! Even some of the innocent and classy looking ones.
Talking about adultery, singer Orezi also known as Alhaji Orezi was almost beaten up by an unknown man after his show in Surulere, Lagos some days back as an unknown man alleged he slept with his wife.
A man came after the singer and started shouting at him, saying he slept with his wife and raising his hands towards him trying to beat him.
The fierce looking man shouted with a thick voice and dashed towards Orezi to hit him, as he tells him in pidgin English “you think say because you be celeb, you fit dey f**K my wife?”.
The singer probably knew ahead that we was heading to a trouble zone, as unlike him, he had a military escort this time and it took the effort of the military men who accompanied him to the show to douse the pandemonium and saved him from notorious Surulere boys.
The embarrassing moment was captured on video by some fans who were at the corner of the show where the drama took place.
90s SINGING SENSATION, MIKE OKRI RETURNS IN NEW PHOTOS
For those who are familiar with Nigerian music of the 80s/90s,the name Mike Okri will stir up a feeling of nostalgia in them.
Okri who was really popular at the time gave Nigeria and the world evergreen songs such as “Time Na Money”, “Rumba Dance”, “Omoge”, “Hear Your Mama, Hear Your Papa” to name just a few.
For some reasons not clear to the public, the sturdy music impresario sneaked out of the country to reside in the United States of America at the high point of his career, leaving many to wonder what went wrong.
Mike Okri would later reveal in an Interview with Blueprint in 2012 that three pastors saw visions that he should leave Nigeria as a matter of urgency.
But what many may not know is that Mike Okri has returned back to the country. Okri returned about 5 years ago and made a couple of attempt again at music, unfortunately, the Nigerian music field is now dominated by much younger players with a new hit-scoring-formula.
On Thursday, to let his fans know that he still exists, Mike Okri released a set of lovely professional studio photos and the “Omoge”crooner still looks good; one of the photos shows him sporting his signature course necklace.
And while he may be unable to give us new hit songs at the moment, his repertoire of old hits will send goosebumps down your skin way, beyond the ability of the new generation of artistes reigning at the moment. Was Congo Music Star, Papa Wemba Poisoned?
Congolese music legend and one of Africa’s finest musician, Papa Wemba died at the age of 66 over the weekend after he slumped on stage while performing live during a festival in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He reportedly slumped and died after he had sang his first and second songs and was about to sing the third.
His death suddenly threw the African music world into a state of shock as the musician was believed to be hale and hearty before the performance.
However, if latest information emanating from congo is anything to go by, Papa Wemba might have been poisoned through the microphone he performed with during the show that saw his death.
There’s a video doing rounds on social media suggesting the assassination. The video which shows the before and after events following his collapsing on stage while performing in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire has sparked a lot of reactions from Papa Wemba fans, who believe he did not just collapse. Popular Ivorian entertainer DJ Arafat even claimed that he was sacrificed.
According to a video posted by one Kinshasa-makambo’s on Youtube, an unidentified man is seen taking away the official microphone assigned to the legendary singer and replacing it with another one. Immediately after Papa Wemba started singing, he fell and passed out.
After noticing that the singer had fallen, the gentleman came back, picked the microphone and left as if nothing happened.
Was the microphone laced with a form of inhalable poison? That's the question on the lips of fans who are calling on authority to investigate the matter.
